2006 Navy-Hopkins Game
By Buddy Garland, '84 USNA
We stood together on the field at Navy Marine Corps Memorial Stadium before the 2006 Navy-Hopkins game. He towered over me, and still wore his tolerant scowl that he usually reserved for opposing attackmen. He was ready for Navy to beat Hopkins that day. I was very proud to call Charlie a friend and stand next to him on that field. Go Navy !!
